TransGender San Francisco

TransGender San Francisco is a non-profit corporation dedicated to serving the educational, social, and recreational needs of the transgendered community. TGSF is also dedicated to educating the general public about transgenderism and promoting a positive image of transgendered persons among the general public. The transgendered community includes all transgendered persons, their family and friends, and anyone with a sincere interest in the transgender community.

TRANS Thrive

TRANS: THRIVE, which stands for Transgender Resource and Neighborhood Space (TRANS), and Transgender Health & Resource Initiative for Vital Empowerment (THRIVE) is the new incarnation of the transgender drop-in started by UCSF and transferred to Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center. The project is a result of a three month collaborative planning process by the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Community Behavioral Health Services and the Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center. TRANS: THRIVE is made possible by the generous continuation of a grant from the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), which has been the primary funder since the program’s inception.

Transgender Law Center

At the Transgender Law Center, we work with community members and allies to make California a state in which we can all fully and freely express our gender identities. On our site, you'll find one of the nation's most comprehensive collections of resources on transgender law, information about our innovative projects, and tons of other stuff. If you're in California and have questions about our work, your rights, or the best way to create a non-discriminatory education, health care, employment, or business environment, contact us here.
